Being that you are all very musically gifted and creative, I was curious who your biggest musical influences are. Joey, when I listen to you, it's very apparent that Michael Jackson is someone who has impacted you. And when I listen to Andy's music, it has a nice Dave Matthews feel to it. Are there any artists who have influenced you musically who, perhaps, you may not have even realized?
It seems my lengthy questions tend to annoy Joey, so I'll try to be more succinct 😁. I was a CA girl most of my life, but am blessed to live out in Montana near Glacier National Park now. We see squirrel, elk, deer, rabbits daily on the property, and sometimes a moose or bear, especially in summer. I love having the four seasons here, too, even though I miss Pismo Beach, CA where we used to live. If you guys could live anywhere in the world where you could see wild animals daily, where would it be? What kind of animals would you most like to see? Thanks for always answering my questions, guys, and I hope I'll be able to make it to one of your live shows in the future. God bless! P.S. Matt, tell Chilli thank you for responding to my comment on your vacation pics on Instagram about the pup, Sugar Pie. What an adorable little dog ❤️
You guys have been in several film projects together, and it’s super neat to see the dynamic between you guys! Brotherly Love was awesome! It didn’t feel like a show, it felt like watching real family life. There is a show I just started watching, Law & Order: Organized Crime, it’s a little spin off the SVU. I’m a Benson, Rollins, Stabler and Carisi fan. I really enjoy the scenes that leave you on the edge of your seat, the chase scenes always get me - the suspense. My question is: Are there any shows (past or current) that you have always wanted to be in or wish you could be part of? What’s been your dream role? I also want to say, I really admire how you guys stated in a previous pod, when you had talked about your acting careers that “it was more of a hobby.” How you put your family first is just SO awesome! You intentionally make time for yourselves and family, which is so important! Thanks for being real with all of us, letting us get to know the real you, making us laugh and always creating a family vibe. Have a blessed week!
Hello, My name is Brianna and I am from Houston, Texas. I have been a fan of y'all my whole life and love listening to your podcast! My question is about weather. My father is a chief meteorologist in Houston. I have been around weather my whole life especially hurricanes. What is the worst natural disaster you have ever experienced and were you prepared? Also, if you ever have weather questions or need to speak with a meteorologist just let me know. My Top 3: 1. Hurricane Katrina (All my extended family lost their homes) 2. Hurricane Harvey (Houston recieved almost 50 inches of rain at once) 3. 2021 Winter Storm (The whole state of Texas lost power)

Hey Matthew I have a question for you. Have you ever read the entire Bible? and if so, what do you think about it and what are your beliefs? I believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins so we can live for Him!! I love spreading the Gospel too btw this is my favorite chapter and verse John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He Gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."I love Jesus and I love reading the Bible and meditating on His Word Day and Night!!! I have friends that live in Las Vegas and LA and they preach The “GOOD NEWS” on the streets and they get shout at, but it’s all for the Kingdom Of God and even Jesus’ disciples all died except for John because this is what He is calling us to do, it even says in the Bible. We’re called to pick up our Cross Daily and be Disciples and to preach the Gospel to all nations!!! There’s a chapter I always tell my brothers and sisters in Christ John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."✝️❤️🔥🙌🏻 I also have a question for Joe, I recently saw the movie you played in called ‘Pardoned by Grace’ with Michael W. Smith in came out in 2022!!! Great movie by the way!!! What did you think of it? I like when one of the prisoners was preaching the Gospel in the prison.
Are there any rules to what we can and can't include in our questions? Last month you edited out part of my story leading to my question. It was the whole point of my story, the lesson I learned. A silly dream. I'm not mad. Just confused. Did Invisible Sam mess up with the copy and paste? Were the aliens threatening to sue? 😂 If I get to meet you next month at CC Comic Con, I have a funny story about Tony Horton and that same silly dream. It's long. I know Joey hates long questions. 😂 So I won't post it here. I tend to ramble on. Just like Joey. 😁 Some would say it's because we are old. I think it's because we are parents. We keep talking until they listen to us or until they beg for mercy. 😂
Hey guys thank you for always answering my questions I try to keep them fun and interesting! Have you guys ever considered creating a video game 3 player coop and which type would you choose or a mix of them like that newer game Split Fiction ever play it? It is pretty good its a 2 player coop where you have to have a 2nd human player no AI second player and go through fantasy and sci fi with puzzle solving etc.. Love the pod as always take care! Oh also letting you know from a previous AMA talking about Looney Tunes Bugs Bunny is going to be at the Hollywood Bowl July 11,12 hope you guys get to attend if you want to and get a chance classic cartoons and live music so awesome!
Hey guys! A few months ago you answered one of my questions about movies you've never seen and I mentioned Mel Brooks. I just heard they are officially coming out with Spaceballs 2! How much fun is that?! I'm super excited and pumped up for this sequel! Are there any movies from the 80s or 90s you would love to see a sequel to? Fun fact - I have a tag on my suitcase that says "Spaceballs The Luggage Tag". However, I don't have a combination on my luggage. 🤣🤣 Love you guys! You're the absolute best! Thank you so much for answering my questions. All my love and support to you always! 🙏❤️
Hey guys how are you? My name is Lindsay shout out from Houston, Texas, born and raised!!!! So recently me and my 5 year old son have been watching the Brotherly Love show, me and him couldn’t stop laughing at this one episode.(Lord of the Guys) Lou and Claire (Liz Vassey, Melinda Culea) head for the health spa and Matt and Joe have to take care of themselves. Me and my son were laughing so hard and he kept asking me to rewind this one clip. Joe and Lloyd (Mike McShane) were cleaning up and Andy was hilarious. The funny thing is, that Matt didn’t help and tricked you guys and used reverse psychology. The place was a complete mess and there was food and dishes everywhere’s. You guys are so cute and hilarious. I grew up watching y'all❤️
Hey Andy, I wanted to know how long did it take you to play the guitar? I got my son a guitar as a surprise after he graduated from pre-K and he loves it!!! I love playing the guitar with him and everytime I play I have flash backs when I was a little girl, I would always play and I haven’t played the guitar in yearsss and I still got it as a 30 year old single mother. We are also working on a song together. I love these moments with him🤍 P.S What is your favorite guitar?
Just a heads up for the fans. Check out the Magical Rewind podcast hosted by Will Friedle and Sabrina Bryan where they review Disney Movies. They just reviewed Horse Sense and had nothing but good things to say about the movie, and especially Andy's performance! They are interviewing Joey about it this week. Going to the Mat is still their highest rated movie. Scroll through for that episode and an interview with Andy. Maybe Matt will get his turn when they do Jumping Ship. 😊
Shhhhh....your fans are sleeping. *whispers* Maybe they wore themselves out laughing at the last pod da pod. There's normally 20-25 questions by now. Right now there are only 9. Well technically only 8 because mine wasn't really a question. It was more informational for anyone coming to CC Comic Con. Maybe you could sing us a lullaby. Andy's song Moonbeam would be good. Or you could sing the lullaby I sang to my daughter when she was a baby, 100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. Don't knock it! It worked! *quietly giggles*
I'm 23 and I've always struggled a lot with existentialism and self-worth. It's hard not knowing my purpose, and i have a great feeling of inadequacy. I want happiness and fulfillment but i don't know where to find it. Since you were all actors from a young age and knew what you wanted to do with your lives, did you ever have struggles like this? If so, how did you get through it?
A while back, you guys had Emily Swallow who was the Armorer in “The Mandalorian” on da pod. I haven’t been a fan of the Star Wars series but this one won me over 🤣 I can’t wait for the movie “Mandalorian and Grogu” to come out next year! My question is for all 3 of you: If you could have any role in the Star Wars world, who would like to be? It can be any character/role from ANY of the Star Wars movies/shows. This next question is random, Would you guys ever consider doing Hot Ones? Where you eat wings with different levels of hot sauces WHILE being interviewed. Who do you think would last the longest? Have a blessed week!
You're coming to Corpus Christi Comic Con!!! I hope I get to go! Our normal temperature in July is 115+ degrees, the humidity is around 115%, and the wind is usually near hurricane force. So pack lots of cool clothing, extra hats, and deodorant. And don't forget the Dude Wipes! 😂 Your sweat will have sweat! We have two laws that visitors must abide by. You have to go to see the statue of Selena! For those who don't know, she was the Tejano singer JLo played in the movie Selena. It's on the Bayfront where you will be. And you MUST go to Whataburger! Corpus Christi is the birthplace of Whataburger! There is one near where you will be. If you eat on the top floor, you should be able to see the Bayfront. There are restaurants on the piers as well. If you want to walk along the Bay, I suggest early morning because of the heat. If you decide to stay in our area for a family vacation, we have Hurricane Harbor water park, Texas State Aquarium, and tours of the USS Lexington. Regular tours and ghost tours. We go to North Padre Island or Port Aransas beaches. Padre Island Burger Company and Doc's Seafood are the best places to eat there! They also have a Whataburger. Lots of hotels on the beaches. I hope you enjoy your time here!! Stay hydrated! Are you bringing your mom? 🙏🏻 As much as everyone would love to stare at Smee in person, from a respectable distance, I'm afraid the heat and humidity here would be too much for him. It's hard on my allergies and asthma. Of course now that I warned you about the heat, watch us get a freak blizzard with 3 feet of snow. 😂 Then you'll get to see a bunch of idiots in winter jackets, shorts, and flip flops building snowmen. 😂 Mother Nature likes to mess with us. So be prepared for anything!
In the 90s, many celebrities had fan clubs. When I was 13, my celebrity crush was Jonathan Brandis. (Sorry it wasn't one of you guys, but I gravitated toward blond haired, blue eyed guys back then 🤷♀️😁). My mom had a local bakery take one of my posters from Teen Beat and make a cake with Jonathan's image on it. I was mortified when she revealed it in front of my friends at my party, and even more so when I found out she sent a picture of it into his fan club! Imagine my surprise, however, when I got a letter back from the club saying the cake looked great and Jonathan got to see the photos. They also sent me a few other memorable items! As mad as I was at my mom at the time, I'm so grateful to have that letter and memorabilia to this day, as they represent a part of my childhood. It broke my heart when I learned of his passing in the early 2000s. Joey and Matt, did you both have fan clubs back then? I'm guessing Andy was too young to have one. Do any of you have memorable letters or gifts that fans sent into your fan clubs in that decade? Can you recall any letters that you responded to because they were especially meaningful to you?
